Model SM-1024How to use
- Pick your row. For 10″–17″, leave the bottom slide closed and read the closed row. For 17″–24″, pull the bottom slide out until it stops (extended) and read the extended row.
- Reach both walls. Set the bottom slide’s end against one wall, then pull the top slide out until its tip meets the opposite wall. It stays where you leave it.
- Read. Press the gauge lightly between the walls and read the number at the red index.
- Put it away. Push each slide home until it clicks. Store and hang it with both slides closed.
Read it in place. Take the reading while the gauge is pressed lightly between the walls. Lifted out, the slides can shift a little.
Care
Don’t leave it in a hot car or anywhere above 120°F (49°C). Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
